Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using 100Tiles.com (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

100Tiles is a free, anonymous, collaborative drawing grid. Each day a 10×10 grid of 100 tiles starts blank. Users may claim and draw on tiles, view drawings made by others, and react with hearts or reports. The grid resets daily and previous days are archived for public viewing.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to create, post, or transmit content that:

• Is illegal, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or hateful;
• Depicts sexual content involving minors, or any other illegal sexual content;
• Infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
• Contains malware, exploit code, or attempts to compromise the Service;
• Impersonates a real person in a misleading way;
• Promotes self-harm, terrorism, or violence;
• Spams, advertises, or attempts to drive traffic off-site.

You also agree not to bypass or interfere with the Service's rate limits, claim limits, locking mechanisms, or other technical safeguards.

5. User content

You retain whatever rights you have in the content you draw on the Service. By submitting content, you grant 100Tiles a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as part of the live grid, the daily archive, and the playback feature, including in perpetuity for archived days.

You are solely responsible for content you submit. You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that your content does not violate these Terms.

6. Moderation and locking

Tiles that receive enough reports relative to hearts are automatically locked and blacked out for the remainder of the day. We may also remove, lock, or refuse to display any content at our sole discretion, with or without notice. We are not obligated to pre-screen content but reserve the right to do so.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will be preserved.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 100Tiles and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed US$50.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
